Q: Do you see "Managed" MediCare (HMO) patients?
 

A: Yes, we do make visits to certain HMO patients, but it depends on three important factors: 

1.) to which Medical Group does the patient's Primary Care Provider (PCP) belong?
2.) is HDMG contracted with that Medical Group to make housecalls?
3.) does the patient qualify for the housecall under that Medical Group's guidelines? 

Please contact us to discuss whether your HMO patient may be seen.


Q: How much does a "private pay" housecall cost?


A:
  It depends on the complexity of the visit and whether it is a first or subsequent visit.  If it is an initial visit that is highly complex, the cost will be approximately $250.  Subsequent complex visits are between $125-$150.



Q:
Are your Clincians all board-certified?  If so, in what fields?


A:
Yes, all of our clinicians are board-certified in either Geriatric Medicine, Family Practice or Internal Medicine.



Q.  How do HDMG clinicians interface with the patients' existing Primary Care Provider?



A. 
 We consider ourselves partners with your physicians, and we seek to collaborate in the development and delivery of innovative solutions in your care.  We are open to seeing a patient on a one-time basis or on an ongoing basis:  it is entirely up to the patient and their physician.
